Citizen's Rights: Policy Paper Fact Sheet For Businesses

We can be encouraged by the recently announced proposals by the Prime Minister on the right for those EU citizens resident for 5years + in the UK to be able to continue to live and work in the UK post-Brexit. It is a positive step forward in at least providing some clarity on this issue for the many loyal and much valued colleagues working in the sector .

It is good to see that the issue is also being prioritised by government too.  The UK Government policy paper on EU Citizens rights published at least goes some way to setting out more detail on what would be the terms of residency for those EU workers working in the UK today. However it still remains the case that more needs to be done and nothing is 100% firm with agreements still needing to be signed and sealed”
