Invitation to the next Cross Party Group on Tourism – note from Bruce Crawford MSP

The next meeting of the Cross Party Group on Tourism will be held in the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 30 November, 6.00pm to 7.30pm, in Committee Room 3.

At the last meeting on 5 October, those who attended expressed interest in having a discussion session focusing on the possible implications of the EU referendum result and Brexit negotiations on tourism and the visitor economy. I am delighted to tell you that Michael Russell MSP, Minister for UK Negotiation on Scotland's Place in Europe, has agreed to attend the meeting on 30th November, delivering a short introduction followed by a question and answer session.

If you wish to join us please indicate your attendance to Leon Thompson, Government and Parliamentary Affairs Manager at VisitScotland at leon.thompson@visitscotland.com

To ensure that we all get the most from the meeting please can I ask that you submit questions ahead of time.

I look forward to welcoming you on 30 November.

Yours,

Bruce Crawford MSP
