Scottish Tourism Alliance response to Scottish Government Cabinet Reshuffle

The Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) is delighted that Fiona Hyslop MSP will remain in post as Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs.

Much constructive dialogue has taken place between the STA, the Cabinet Secretary and her team over the past two years, setting a strong direction for our tourism industry.   The STA agenda remains firmly focused around creating opportunities for positive policy change to support the growth and competitiveness of Scotland’s tourism sector and create the best possible conditions for tourism businesses to grow.  We look forward to continued collaboration with the Cabinet Secretary to drive Scotland’s Tourism Strategy forward and shape the future of a strong, sustainable and more competitive tourism industry.
