The report into the economic benefit of the caravan sector

In 2014 the Scottish Caravan and Camping Forum undertook a major survey into the value of the holiday-park sector to the economy of Scotland.  This was an in-depth survey, involving park-owners and holiday-makers.  The report has detailed information on expenditure, full-time equivalent employment (the number of people employed in the sector), gross value added;  the information is presented both nationally and by region.  The SCCF includes the BH&HPA, the Caravan Club, the Camping and Caravanning Club, the National Caravan Council, and Thistle Holiday Parks.  You can view a summary of the report by clicking here and you can view the full report here
