q Did you know...?

  • 8% of all Scottish jobs are in the tourism industry, employing 196,600 people (2015).
  • 27% of tourism and hospitality employers had had at least one vacancy within the last twelve months (2015).

Tourism is a people industry. Without the warm welcome, professionalism, commitment and skills of our colleagues, we will not be able to grow the sector. Our industry is a great one to work in; it offers a broad range of careers, rapid career progression and flexible hours, and it should be fun too! We need our colleagues to feel valued, supported and proud of what they do. There is considerable help to support you in doing this.

We help our visitors to have a great holiday, what could be better than that?
