DESCRIPTION:Since 2003\, People 1st International has conducted regular large-scale national surveys to provide a comprehensive picture of new and emerging workforce challenges across hospitality\, tourism\, travel\, aviation and retail. \nLast week (Wednesday 24th May) it launched the 2023 State of the Workforce Survey to investigate skills gaps and workforce issues across the visitor economy sector to help employers across the sector to better address their workforce needs\, directly informing the decisions they make with regard to skills development.

The survey\, which includes members’ views on business performance and confidence\, the labour market\, and future trading outlook\, can be completed here. \nThere are 23 questions to answer and it is estimated to take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The survey closes at 5pm Wednesday 14th June 2023.

The forum will be an opportunity for stakeholders to: \n\nFeed into discussions around certain aspects of the plan\nHear from other teams within Marine Scotland and how they link to national marine planning\nNetwork with other stakeholders\n\nLunch and tea and coffee breaks will be provided. \nSpaces to attend in person are limited and if interest is high\, we cannot guarantee you an in-person space.
