As an industry, we continue to face numerous threats and challenges that impact on your business’ ability to drive profit, growth and investment; Brexit, business rates, the continued rising costs across all areas of business and the processes and costs of regulation and our sector’s ability to recruit and retain its future workforce.
The STA is here to ensure that the voice of Scotland’s tourism industry is heard and your views are shared. We are here to represent your interests, to help your voice be heard by the people who need to hear it and to connect you to people in tourism businesses in your destination, region and of course all over Scotland who not only experience similar challenges to you but can share their experience and best practice with you.
Please be assured that the STA continues to campaign hard on the issues that affect your business growth, having gained the willing ear of the Scottish Government Cabinet Secretaries, Ministers, policy advisers. We also campaign on reserved matters with our presence at Westminster.
