Industry Update: Walk for Wellbeing launches this month

There is no doubt about it, we are in a national cost-of-living crisis that will not only impact many hospitality businesses, but also place unsustainable pressure on the household budgets of those who can afford it least.

Hospitality Action has already seen a 30% increase in grant applications and helpline calls, with over half citing energy or rent arrears – usually both.

Financial worries and mental health go hand in hand, which is why we’re asking you to take part in Walk for Wellbeing.

If you haven’t already you can sign up either as an individual, or with family, friends, or work colleagues and walk in your own location – as long or short as you like or join one of the hosted walks in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow (Change of route to note for Glasgow walk – hosted by DAM).

Please sponsor and donate whatever you can – no donation is too small. The person to raise the most in each location will win an overnight stay with breakfast courtesy of Village Hotels

With just over £40,000 raised so far, please help us get to the £50,000 mark if you can – no donation is too small!

Let’s walk the walk and make a difference together

We appreciate that not everyone can join us on the walk, but you can still donate to this amazing cause by clicking here.
