Industry Update: Prepare for Scottish Careers Week 2024

The fourth annual Scottish Careers Week is returning from 11-15 November and the new online toolkit is now available on My World of Work, with ideas and inspiration for organisations across Scotland to get involved and help shape the future. 

Set against a backdrop of the ever-changing world of work, new technology, the climate emergency, and the need to develop the right skills – the campaign is more important than ever as we work to help people understand the opportunities out there, and the support available to them.

Delivered by Skills Development Scotland with a wide range of partners, the Scottish Careers Week campaign aims to celebrate the power of career support, showcase exciting industries and opportunities, including green careers, and help shape a brighter future for everyone.

The campaign toolkit features specific suggestions for schools, employers and career practitioners. However, any organisations with an interest in supporting career choices are encouraged to get involved.  There’s a section on free resources too, to help promote on social and digital.
