Hospitality Health, the Scottish charity dedicated to improving health and wellbeing in the hospitality & tourism industry, was chosen as the charity partner for the event.
Speaking at the cheque hand over, hosted at Manorview’s Bowfield Hotel & Spa, Bob Taylor said, “We are delighted to support Gordon and the team at Hospitality Health. Being able to hand over a cheque for over £15,000 is a record amount raised for the Uncle Bob Cycle event, and we know it is going to a very worthwhile cause.”
Gordon added: “We are delighted to get support from Bob, Steve, Michele, Robert and all the cyclists who took part. We never expected the event to raise as much as this, so we are over the moon with such a fabulous donation. It is a brilliant partnership we have now developed.”
The event was supported by Steve Graham of Manorview, Michele Pagliocca of Monteleone Group and the Director of Sport was Robert Campbell. Steve, Michele and Robert said “We are thrilled with all the funds now collected to have raised such a fantastic amount, It will set the bar high for next year!”
