Webinar 1 – Attraction and Recruitment of Young People

Key features include; Young People strategy; being an employer of choice for Young People and creating an inviting employment proposition; attraction strategies; preparing Young People for the world of work; making connections with the Meta skills Young People are learning in education with the world of work; opportunities through the apprenticeship family and other work-based learning opportunities; engaging with youth employment and specialist agencies to provide placement and employment opportunities for Young People who face barriers to work and Fair Equal and Inclusive selection and recruitment methods. There will also be opportunities for several smaller break-out groups to share best practice and insights to take back to your organisation and to support action planning.
Webinar 2 – Leading and Developing Young People

Key features include effective onboarding; creating stimulating work-based learning, training, and upskilling opportunities; effective coaching and mentoring; supporting Young People to develop key meta skills to adapt to the ever-changing world of work; learning and communication styles; wider learning and business education; leadership and role model capabilities to develop Young People; developing a growth mindset; reverse mentoring; supporting mental health and financial wellbeing and effective and regular real time feedback. There will also be opportunities for several smaller break-out groups to share best practice and insights to take back to your organisation and to support action planning.
Webinar 3 – Retaining Young People

Key features will include common challenges around retention; creating a culture of psychological safety to support Young People to learn, flourish and maximise their pull potential; stay interviews; career mentoring and talent management; generational harmony; celebrating success; capturing success metrics; providing Young People with a voice to influence Youth employment & Fair Work practices, sector challenges and drive community engagement initiatives. There will also be opportunities for several smaller break-out groups to share best practice and insights to take back to your organisation and to support action planning.
Webinar 4 – The Voice of the Young Person. During this session you will hear from a panel of Young People in high performing organisations around the themes of attraction, recruitment, development, and retention of Young People.
