Industry News: BLOC+ celebrates 25 years of serving food with 50% off food every Sunday in August
Fresh from announcing the return of award-winning chef Andy Neilson and celebrating national recognition from PETA UK, Glasgow institution BLOC+ is marking another huge milestone this August: 25 years of the BLOC+ kitchen.
To celebrate, BLOC+ is giving customers all main meals and burgers at HALF PRICE every Sunday throughout August, including 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August.
The offer includes some of BLOC’s best-loved dishes, including its recently acclaimed Korean Seitan Burger, which was named one of PETA UK’s Top 10 Vegan Chicken Burgers in the UK earlier this month. The award-winning vegan favourite joins the rest of BLOC’s mains and burger menu as part of the anniversary offer.
For 25 years, BLOC’s kitchen has become known for its creative, mouthwatering street food – from legendary burgers and innovative vegan dishes to weekly specials that regularly go viral across social media – the kitchen has earned a loyal following well beyond Glasgow.
“We’ve always believed great food should be fun, accessible and never take itself too seriously. Seeing our Korean Seitan Burger recognised nationally by PETA UK was a proud moment for the team, and celebrating 25 years of the kitchen by giving something back to our customers feels like the perfect way to mark the occasion.”
The half price Sunday offer runs exclusively on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August, applying to main meals and burgers only, making it the ideal excuse to revisit old favourites or try something different.
After 25 years, BLOC’s kitchen is still doing what it does best: serving bold food, creating conversation, and proving independent venues can still lead the way.
