Caroline Millar is a food producer, growing malting barley, oats, and wheat on the family farm in Angus as well as producing Scotch Beef and Scotch lamb. Over 2500 guests stay on the farm each year in 5-star eco Hideaways. Caroline has helped drive forward agritourism in Scotland over the past 15 years based on international research where food and drink at the core of the farm based visitor experience.
Scottish Agritourism provides leadership, business support and a strong voice to farmers and crofters offering agritourism in Scotland. Formed in 2020, Scottish Agritourism brings together a strong network of over 300 individuals across 200 businesses. Go Rural is the consumer facing brand, marketing agritourism in Scotland and assuring visitors they are visiting a real working farm or croft.
