Fiona MacConnacher

Fiona is Director of Policy and Public Affairs at Historic Houses.
She has previously held roles at Booking.com as Head of Public Affairs for the UK & Ireland, as well as the Food Standards Agency and the former Department for International Trade, leading work on Tariff Legislation and Goods Market Access for EU Continuity Trade Agreements with over 60 countries. She also sat on the board of the UK Short Term Accommodation Association, having acted as their Chair between 2024-2025.
Before her career in government and public affairs, Fiona studied at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, gaining the prestigious Pâtisserie internship with celebrated Pastry Chef, Cedric Grolet at Le Meurice, Paris and has also written for the Evening Standard and Olive Magazine.
