Chief Executive of Museums Galleries Scotland
Lucy is Chief Executive of Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS), a role she took up in January 2019. Prior to this, Lucy was at National Lottery Heritage Fund and was Head of HLF Scotland from 2015. During this time she was involved in many of the major investments in Scotland’s heritage. She has degree in Archaeology and worked as an archaeologist in the UK, Italy and Albania in her early career. Lucy is committed to building partnerships across sectoral boundaries and to supporting museums and galleries throughout Scotland. Lucy is a Trustee of the Historic Environment Scotland Foundation and is currently collaborating with Visit Scotland to deliver a Community Stories Fund as part of Scotland’s
