Philip Bartlett

Philip Bartlett is a senior economist at the Natwest Group, focused on helping the bank and its customers to navigate the uncertain economic environment. He has more than a decade of economic policymaking experience in central government, where he provided advice to HM Treasury ministers ahead of successive Budgets and Spending Reviews. Philip covers all aspects of the UK economy, specialising in the analysis of housing markets, regional economic performance and the drivers of growth. He holds a Masters degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh and an undergraduate economics degree from Glasgow University. Aside from his keen interests in economics and politics, Philip enjoys spending time with two young daughters, running and cycling.
