Toby was first involved in the foodservice and hospitality market in 2003 in a JV launching ‘Taste of London’. He joined Fresh RM in March 2005 as Exhibition Director and has run Hotelympia, ScotHot, IFE, The Independent Hotel Show, The Hospitality Show, and Speciality & Fine Food Fair amongst others for many years. He was made Managing Director of the wholly owned Montgomery business called Fresh Montgomery in June 2012 and subsequently expanded the business into Asia and South Africa.
In 2021 Toby set up 365 Events with business partner Billie Moore acquiring IFEX in Belfast that ran most successfully in March this year as well as ScotHot that is taking place at the SEC, Glasgow in March 2023. ScotHot is running on 8/9 March 2023 in partnership with the STA and will be the launchpad for Scottish Tourism month.
