STA Update: Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh becomes a Platinum Patron Sponsor of the Scottish Tourism Alliance

The Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA), the overarching member organisation for tourism and hospitality businesses in Scotland, is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its existing partnership with one of Scotland’s leading hotels, the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh.

A long-term member of the STA, the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh has now become a Platinum Patron sponsor of the organisation, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to making a positive contribution to both the local community in which it operates, and to enabling the success of Scotland’s wider tourism and hospitality industry through the work of the STA.

Marc Crothall MBE, Chief Executive of the Scottish Tourism Alliance, said:

“The STA really values the great relationship we’ve established with the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh over the years and for the support they’ve already provided as a member. I’m absolutely delighted and look forward to building on our partnership.

Having the support and, importantly, the insight from such a well-respected Edinburgh venue, one which intimately understands the multitude of challenges large, city centre hospitality and tourism businesses are navigating, is hugely welcome.

We look forward to working with Martijn and the team in the weeks and months to come.”

Martijn Zengerink, General Manager at Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, said:

“We are incredibly proud to elevate our partnership with the Scottish Tourism Alliance by becoming a Platinum Patron sponsor. As a longstanding member of the STA, we recognize the crucial role the organisation plays in driving the success of Scotland’s tourism and hospitality sector.

At the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, our commitment extends beyond providing exceptional guest experiences; we are dedicated to contributing positively to our community and supporting the growth of Scotland’s tourism industry. I look forward to collaborating closely with Marc and the STA team to continue driving excellence in Scotland’s tourism industry.”
