Event – ‘Our Passionate People’

Mon, 24 February 2020

Forth Valley College

The draft of Scotland’s future tourism strategy was shared with industry delegates at the Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) Annual Autumn Conference in October 2019. The draft vision, mission and the four key priority areas were revealed by Marc Crothall, Chair of the Strategy Steering Group.

The vision – Scotland. We will be the world leader in 21st century tourism.

The mission – Together we will grow the value and positively enhance the benefits of tourism across Scotland by delivering the very best for our visitors, our businesses, our people, our communities and our environment.

Key priorities – Our passionate people, our thriving places, our diverse businesses, our memorable experiences.

Following the launch of Scotland’s draft future national tourism strategy ‘Beyond2020’, the Centre for Work-based Learning, in partnership with the STA and Skills Development Scotland are looking to explore the theme of ‘Our Passionate People’ on 24 February at Forth Valley College in Stirling.

This is a free to attend event which will give employers the opportunity to look at the future of the skills sector and provide a platform for debate with experts and industry leaders.
