Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight starts on Saturday (5th Sept)

Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight starts this Saturday, 5th September is your opportunity to celebrate the Local Legends who help keep our food and drink industry moving and inspire us all with their skills.

This year’s event will run until 20th September and aims to encourage more people than ever to source, buy, eat and promote Scottish food and drink.

Your business has a hugely important part to play in the nation’s biggest food and drink celebration; in recognising the suppliers, products and people and celebrating the hard work, determination and innovative ways our food and drink industry has adapted to the global crisis

By getting involved, we can all further fuel the demand for local produce, build a stronger food and drink economy and grow our reputation as a Land of Food and Drink.

Some of the ways you can get involved

  • Introduce new suppliers and launch/celebrate them during the Fortnight
  • Shout about your Scottish products/dishes/regional specialities
  • Organise special Fortnight events to highlight local produce to your guests
  • Join the big conversation on social media, share what you’re doing and gain the attention you deserve – use the hashtag #ScotFort20
  • Use the fresh, new branding on your marketing material
  • Contact the team to help you plan an exciting programme of activity that can be measured & celebrated
  • Download the toolkits for more info, logo, images & marketing copy

On social

Get involved in the online chat by posting engaging content which gives an insight into you, your business, products or people.

The dedicated hashtags #ScotFoodFort20 and the @scotfooddrink Twitter, Instagram and Facebook can be used to link content and further promote all the activities taking place throughout the Fortnight.
