Industry Update: Skills Development Scotland (SDS) launches refreshed employer hub and Marketplace portal

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) has launched a refreshed online offer for employers. The new employer hub has information on the full range of employer support that SDS provides to help employers manage their skills needs, helping to upskill and reskill, and help with workforce planning.

There’s also information on the wider support available to employers including apprenticeships, Skills for Growth and contact centre support.

The employer hub will be accessible via the SDS corporate site, or directly at employers.sds.co.uk. The hub replaces Our Skillsforce, which will be retired. Anyone accessing Our Skillsforce after this will be redirected to the employer hub.

The Marketplace portal (to support employers to engage with schools and colleges) has also had a refresh, making it easier for employers to make offers to schools and colleges, and for educators and young people to access the opportunities available. It’s a simpler process, with no registration or sign-in required.

Employers can access Marketplace from the SDS employer hub, or directly at marketplace.sds.co.uk.

Educators and young people can view and access available opportunities from employers at myworldofwork.co.uk/marketplace.
