An immigration update from STA Supporter Anderson Strathern: Increase to Work Visa and Sponsor Fees effective from 4th October 2023

The UK Government has now published increases to Work Visa and Sponsor Fees which will apply from Wednesday 4th October 2023. This update sets out the main fees relevant to Sponsor Licence holders and Skilled Workers. The full table of fee increases can be found here.

The Government has not yet announced when the substantial increase in the cost of the Immigration Health Surcharge (from £624 to £1035 per year) will come into effect, but it is predicted to be later this year.

Any Sponsor or Skilled Worker considering a Skilled Worker visa application should consider applying urgently to be eligible for the current Immigration Health Surcharge fee.
