Funded Partnerships with Robert Gordon University

Robert Gordon University is providing the opportunity to access funding streams for your business, including Innovation Vouchers and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP). The costs of generating new ideas, technologies and processes to help you achieve a competitive advantage are often high. RGU can help you to de-risk your investment by finding funding options.

Options include:

  • Innovation Assistance up to the value of £20,000 from the Scottish Funding Council’s innovation voucher scheme
  • Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funding of up to 67% of total project costs, funded by Innovate UK with 12 other funding organisations, including the Scottish Funding Council. KTP is a world-leading programme that helps businesses succeed by connecting them to the UK’s rich academic resources. It’s a partnership between the business seeking expertise, the university and a recently qualified graduate – known as an associate. If you apply to KTP and are successful, an associate will work in your company and help bring your plans to life
  • Support via Scotland’s innovation centres set up to encourage entrepreneurial projects

Benefits include:

  • The services of a qualified researcher or technical officer to work on a project of mutual interest
  • Access to the latest technological advances emerging from our research base
  • The opportunity to develop a long-term partnership with Robert Gordon University
