Conference programme at a glance

We’ll kick start the day with an interview with Fiona Hyslop MSP before we get the most up to date economic outlook from one of the UK’s leading financial and economic experts.

We will then hear from Stephen Leckie in his capacity as Chair of the Tourism Leadership Group who will provide an update on our national Tourism Strategy TS2020.

Stephen will then do the ‘big reveal’ of the future Vision and Mission of our Tourism Strategy Beyond 2020 and will outline the priority areas of focus.

In our final session before lunch ‘A Human Future’ you’ll hear four different perspectives on how we can build a stronger industry for the future through our people.

Over the course of the afternoon we’ll explore topics such as improving mental health within the industry; future-proofing tourism with learnings from Glasgow’s circular economy; growing profit through data and how we can deliver better quality experiences through collaboration in our destinations.
